Υιοθετώντας την τουρκική προπαγάνδα (προφανώς τα συμφέροντα της στην Τουρκία είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερα απ’ ότι σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο) η NOKIA έχει σβήσει την Κύπρο από τους Χάρτες Πλοήγησης που προσφέρει για τα κινητά της τηλέφωνα. Σε παράπονο μάλιστα ελληνοκύπριου για αυτή της την ενέργεια, η NOKIA τον παραπέμπει στην τουρκική διοίκηση (Turkish part authority)!!!

thank you for contacting us.
We would like to inform you that due to legal authorities from Tyrkey,all data and marks according the mpas, had to be removed.There will be no navigation for Cyprus any more,as far as it concerns Nokia part.Apparently you have to refer to your opoerator or to a Tyrkish part authority.
If you have any other problems with your phone, please contact us again.

I am sure that everybody in NOKIA knows that REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS is an INDEPENTED NATION from 1960, and a EUROPEAN COMMUNITY MEMBER from 2004. In 1974 Turkey invaded in Cyprus killing a lot of innocent people. Since then occupies a part of our Country. I wonder how NOKIA took the decision that: "There will be no navigation for Cyprus any more, due to legal authorities from Tyrkey" using your own words. Imagine the phrase: "There will be no navigation for Finland any more, due to legal authorities from Norway". It sounds funny , but it isnʼt. Because actually is against every International law. I have already informed our government about this issue, in order to take all the necessary actions.

Καλούμε λοιπόν, όλους τους Έλληνες
Δεν έχει καμία κρατική εξουσία η Τουρκία στους χάρτες της Κύπρου μας. Τις επόμενες ημέρες θα πρέπει το fax και το email της ΝΟΚΙΑ να κατακλυστεί από εκατοντάδες ή και χιλιάδες κείμενα διαμαρτυρίας. Είναι στο χέρι μας να ΜΗΝ επιτρέψουμε έναν ακόμη εθνικό διασυρμό.
Επιπλέον καλούμε επίσης όλους τους Έλληνες (σε Ελλάδα, Κύπρο και εξωτερικό)

NOKIA's action is against every International law. i inform you that i stop buying NOKIA products till you restore the Cyprus maps. I will also inform our government about this issue, in order to take all the necessary actions.
